Sunday 20th May

Start time & place:10am Hayes - Contact Walk leader for Start Point and parking details etc
Walk length: 9 miles
Lunch: Picnic or optional lunch at the Kings Arms in Leaves Green www.kingsarmsleavesgreen.co.uk (let me know a week before if you would like to eat at the pub)
Comments: This is a lovely walk, very green and leafy considering it is so close to the suburbs. 
The walk takes in Hayes Common, Well Wood, Leaves Green, Keston Common and Hayes Common. There are also cafes at the end of the walk, if anyone would like to stop for tea and cake.

Walk: Circular 7 miles
Lunch: Picnic lunch with optional post lunch drink stop at the Wheatsheaf pub
Comments:	Around Bough Beech Reservoir through meadow and woodland, very flat and easy walk


*Saturday 2nd June*
Leader: Sue - Contact Walk leader for Start Point and Full Details
We walk with our buddies; the Capital walkers in celebration of the Olympic Games.
Start: 11am - Walk in Central London In celebration of the Olympics 2012 (and in response to our  Morag’s request to honour the Olympics), we will pick up the trail from the Olympic stadium of 1908 to the 2012 stadium at Stratford, London
End: Pudding lane DLR station TQ378836 E15 2NQ
Walk:16 mile linear, easy & non challenging, you won’t feel a thing, I promise.
Lunch: Picnic by the canal
Comments:	A mostly flat, non challenging walk through urban areas following canal paths. As this is a long walk and the weather may be hot, we will take in a café stop, after lunch in the afternoon with plenty of chances to stock up on water at shops too. Optional pub meal at end of walk, those that don’t want to do the walk are welcome to join us for dinner/drinks at the end. If you would like to carry out just a part of the walk, that’s fine. I can arrange to meet you at a point. Let me know if you would like to eat about a week before.
	

Sunday 10th June

Start: 10.15pm Shoreham to meet Blind Walkers arriving by train. This is a joint walk with our buddies at N.W Kent
Walk: 6 mile circular
Lunch: Picnic lunch with pub stop at Otford (actual pub to be checked out nearer the time)
Comments: A walk through open farmlands and woodlands, passing through the attractive village of Otford. Tea and cake at the 1930s Station Tea room at the end (if time and inclination). We would be very grateful for as many volunteers as possible. No experience necessary. Guide dogs only, thank you

**Saturday 16th June** Evening walk

Start: 5pm One Tree Hill
Walk: 8.25 miles Linear 
Drink Stop: Drink stop at Kentish Rifleman, Dunks Green.
Comments: An evening walk along the greensand way to a West Kent Favourite.


**Friday 22nd June** Evening walk
Leader: Penny
Start: Westerham - Contact Walk leader for Start Point
Walk: 5 miles followed by pub meal at George and Dragon. 
          Please confirm if you would like to eat at the pub.
Comments: A really nice walk which takes in some valleys, woodland, hilltop views and passes Chartwell. It has several short, steep ascents and descents.


Sunday 24th June
Leader: Nicky 
Start: 10.30 - Contact Walk leader for Start Point
Walk: 9miles -Holly Hill / North Downs
Lunch Picnic lunch
Comments: Walk through undulating woodland and farmland with some views from the North Downs. Pub/picnic lunch at Harvel. 
                        Optional visit to pre-historic long Barrow in the afternoon (adds about ½ mile to walk).


Sunday 8th July
Leader: Sue/Leela - Contact walk leaders for start point
Walk: Morning walk around Keston: 6 miles 
Part 1: 10.30 to 1pm - Walk followed by picnic lunch and then:
Part 2: 2pm to 5pm we visit the village fair at Keston which takes place on the green outside the Greyhound Pub.
Comments:	It is like a village fair but the stalls promote the countryside. Stalls which have been there in the past include animal charities, field clubs, NT, friends groups
